I have experience teaching special education, elementary, junior high and high school Spanish, junior high and high school English, junior high math, Algebra I, junior high reading, elementary library classes, 2nd grade students, 3rd grade students, and now Title Math. I have been married to Richard Brownen for 34 years. He is a retired school superintendent. Together we manage Brownen Rental Properties here in Weatherford. We have four children, Trevor, Trent, Terin, and Trey.
Trevor is a CPA and financial analyst for Wexford in Oklahoma City. His wife Haley is a professional photographer. They have a spunky Boston terrier named Broggie, and they are expecting a baby girl this September.
Trent is a pharmacist for Aliance Health Hospital in Woodward. His wife Adrian is an accountant for the same hospital. They have a newborn daughter, our first grandchild, Edith Claire.
Our daughter Terin is a SWOSU graduate with degrees in mathematics, finance, and accounting. She stays really busy with her hair and make-up business. and working as an accountant for Kelley Jewelers. This fall she will begin teaching HS math. She has two lovable golden doodles named Teddy and Ruby.
Our son Trey is almost 6 years old. He will be in first grade this fall. He loves learning about anything and everything, building and creating with Legos or other blocks, and playing games.
My very favorite thing to do in my free time is just being with my family. Another favorite of mine is traveling. I have been to nine countries and almost every state in the U.S. Soon I hope to add Hawaii to that list! I also enjoy studying my Bible, reading, watching movies, music, and trying new restaurants. I LOVE teaching, especially math!!
